How it helps

Who should take Extra-Strength Lozenges?
This is intended for men who have prior experience with Viagra and know they need a higher dose. Sildenafil has different properties compared to other PDE5-inhibitors such as avanafil and tadalafil. Some man prefer sildenafil because they can predict when sexual activity will occur, and they plan to avoid fatty meals 2-3 hours before sex (fatty meal is a meal containing more than 55% of its calories as fat). Sildenafil (Viagra) has a relatively rapid onset of one hour to thirty minutes, as compared to tadalafil (Cialis), but can be slower than the rapid onset of avanafil treatments.
Who should not take Extra-Strength Lozenges?
You should not take this compounded tablet if you:
- Have been told not to have sex, not to engage in sexual activity /actions that widen your blood vessels
- Have peyronie's disease, curved or bent penis
- Have low blood pressure (hypotension)
- Have blood vessel problems (aortic stenosis, idiopathic subaortic stenosis)
- Have had a stroke lately
- Have unstable angina
- Have had a heart attack
- Have a history of non-arteritic anterior ischaemic optic neuropathy (this condition causes a sudden loss of vision)
- Have sickle cell anemia, blood disorders, leukemia
Are there any unusual or uncommon side effects?
Side effects can vary among PDE5-inhibitors, but nasal stuffiness, flushing, dizziness and upset stomach are possible side effects. Please report if you experience any side effects, including:
- Pain in your back/muscles/head
- Migraines
- Hot flushes/going red
- Indigestion
- Feeling and or being sick
- Getting a blocked or runny nose
- Vision disturbances and blurry vision
